Politics are Depressing

What more can I say? At least Bush will be out of office soon. One can only hope that a non-GOP president won't totally sweep under the rug whatever lawbreaking is still apparent after the shredders have done their work up through Jan 20, 2009.

Expecting the Democrats to peek under the carpet? Yeah right. They didn't do it with Richard Nixon or Ronald Reagan, why do you think they'll do it with Bush? They'll just wink wink nod nod and expect the same favor from the Rethugs when the Rethugs get back in. That's how they always do it. Sigh.
